Powered by dual UV lamps and high-viscosity sticky paper (2 Sticky replacement glue boards supplied), it’s ideal for catching flies, mosquitoes, and other flying insects. Plug in the Device: Connect the Pestrol Insect Glue Trap to a standard power outlet (220–240V) to power the UV lamps. Ensure the device is placed in an area where insects are most active, such as near windows or entry points.
Position the Trap: Place the trap on a flat surface or mount it on a wall. The unit works best when positioned at least 1 metre off the ground and away from direct sunlight or other bright light sources to enhance the attraction of insects to the UV lamps.
Turn On the Trap: Switch on the device to activate the UV lights. The UV lamps will emit a 365nm wavelength that attracts flying insects, such as flies and mosquitoes, toward the trap.
Insect Capture: As insects are attracted to the UV light, they will fly toward the device and become stuck to the high-viscosity sticky paper inside. The paper provides a non-toxic method for capturing insects without any harmful chemicals.
Monitor and Replace the Sticky Paper: Regularly check the sticky paper for accumulated insects. To replace the paper, simply rotate the panel, remove the old adhesive sheet, and insert a new one for continued effectiveness. Always turn off the device before replacing the sticky paper. (2 Sticky Glue Paper Pads supplied with first order)
Keep the Area Clean: Wipe down the trap with a soft cloth to ensure its efficiency and maintain a clean, bug-free environment. The device can be used continuously for long-lasting insect control.

Placement: Ensure the trap is mounted securely to prevent it from falling. Avoid placing the trap in areas where it could be knocked over, such as near doors or high-traffic areas.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Place the trap in a location where it is shielded from direct sunlight to maximize the effectiveness of the UV light. Sunlight can interfere with the trap’s ability to attract insects.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Turn off the device and unplug it from the power source before cleaning or replacing the sticky paper. Always allow the unit to cool down before handling.
